XA Investments LLC (XAI), a Chicago-based alternative investment management and consulting firm, has announced the addition of Paul Dunn as a Senior Advisor. Paul, with an accomplished career in investment management, most recently at Bluerock Capital Markets, will provide expertise in sales and distribution to XAI. The firm specializes in giving individual investors access to institutional-grade alternative managers, focusing on alternative credit, private debt, and select hedge fund strategies.

Prior to joining XAI, Paul Dunn was the Executive Vice President of Bluerock Capital Markets, where he led the wholesaling team and managed critical functions including compliance, operations, and third-party wholesaling relationships. He played a key role in the launch of two successful interval funds: the Bluerock Total Income+ Real Estate Fund in 2012 and the Bluerock High Income Institutional Credit Fund in 2022. Earlier in his career, Paul held leadership positions at First Allied Wealth, SEI Investments, NTS Corporation, and Southland Trust Company. He holds a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law.
