Recognizing Bank of America’s ability to adapt to challenging market conditions and ever-changing client needs, Euromoney Magazine has named Bank of America World’s Best Bank for Digital, Diversity and Inclusion, Financing and Markets, in addition to eleven regional and country awards. The honor was announced last night at Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence gala in London, an annual event that recognizes outstanding leadership in financial services.
Euromoney’s editor Louise Bowman said, “In this year’s awards period Bank of America posted the biggest year-on-year percentage increase in its sales and trading revenues of any of the big five US players. The Porsche IPO was a powerful demonstration of the strength and scale of the networks that it can call on when conditions are challenging. But it wasn’t just about scale. It was also about realizing the extent to which markets have changed and understanding how to read them.”
Commenting on the award, Bank of America Chair and Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan said, “I am proud of all that our company and our team achieved in 2022, and for being acknowledged by Euromoney in fifteen categories. We adopted Responsible Growth in 2014 and those tenets continue to serve as the foundation for our strong performance and progress under varied market conditions. This honor is a testament to our proven operating model, which sets us up for the future and positions us to deliver on profits and purpose for our clients, our teammates, our communities and shareholders.”
This is the first time Bank of America has won the World’s Best Bank for Global Markets award, which recognizes the transformation of the bank’s sales and trading business.
