NatWest Group Upgrades Self-Service Banking with NCR Atleos

NCR Atleos Corporation (NYSE: NATL), a leader in enhancing self-service financial access for financial institutions, retailers, and consumers, has announced an expanded partnership with NatWest Group, one of the UK’s largest banking institutions serving over 19 million customers. This collaboration aims to transform NatWest’s self-service banking channels, laying the groundwork for future innovation and success. NatWest Group, which encompasses well-known brands such as NatWest Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank, has long been committed to meeting the needs of diverse communities across the UK. As part of its modernization efforts, the group recognized the need for a more agile and efficient self-service banking platform.

With NCR Atleos, NatWest Group is upgrading its network of over 5,500 ATMs and multi-function devices, both owned and through partners. This upgrade will streamline branch and self-service operations, improve availability, and allow for faster deployment of new transactions and services. The program includes replacing all NatWest-owned ATMs and multi-function devices with new NCR Atleos technology, featuring innovative 19” touchscreen displays to enhance the customer interface. NCR Atleos’ solutions will ensure that NatWest Group brands continue to offer secure and uninterrupted access to cash and essential financial services, reinforcing their position as a trusted provider to customers across the UK.
