Wedbush Securities, a prominent diversified independent financial services provider, has announced the appointment of Joel Funderburk as Senior Vice President, Market Manager. In his new role, Funderburk will lead Wedbush’s efforts to expand into new markets across the Southeast region, focusing on enhancing the firm’s presence in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Joining Wedbush from UBS, Joel brings over three decades of expertise spanning roles from Financial Advisor to Branch Manager, Complex Director, and Regional Director. His career has been dedicated to the Southeastern United States, where he has cultivated extensive connections and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Joel’s strategic insights and proven track record make him a valuable asset as Wedbush continues to invest in growth and expand its footprint in these thriving markets.
