Western Union has announced a partnership with Khipu, enabling customers to send money digitally using any bank account across Chile.
“This service reinforces Western Union’s leadership in remittance operations within the Chilean market. Nogueira emphasized Western Union’s dedication to offering a seamless, fast, and convenient experience for cross-border money transfers. “We’re excited to collaborate with Khipu, integrating their technology into our website and mobile app. This integration will create a more efficient and user-friendly process for our customers.”
Previously, customers paying with a bank account had to leave the Western Union platform to complete payments via their bank’s website. The new integration eliminates this step, allowing the entire transaction to be processed directly within the Western Union platform, simplifying the process and enabling transfers to be completed within minutes.
