KFH Recognizes Outstanding High School Graduates of 2024

AlShamlan: Prioritizing Youth and Academic Excellence at KFH

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recently hosted a ceremony to honor 150 high school graduates for their outstanding achievements in literature, science, and religious studies. The event, held under the patronage of Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, and attended by KFH Kuwait’s CEO, Khaled AlShamlan, and Maryam Al-Enezi, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development at the Ministry of Education, celebrated the academic prowess of these students from both private and internationally recognized schools.

During his address, AlShamlan conveyed KFH’s heartfelt congratulations to the graduates for their exceptional academic performance throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. He acknowledged the pivotal role of parents and families in supporting the students, emphasizing their crucial contribution to their success.

AlShamlan expressed gratitude to Dr. Adel Al-Adwani and Maryam Al-Enezi, highlighting their dedication and tireless efforts in advancing education in Kuwait. He underscored the importance of effective planning in university studies, advising graduates to align their academic pursuits with career aspirations and market demands. “Setting clear goals, continuous learning, and acquiring new skills are essential for unlocking future opportunities,” he emphasized.

Highlighting KFH’s commitment to youth and academic achievers, AlShamlan discussed the establishment of the ‘You are our Pride’ platform, aimed at celebrating young achievers—a first of its kind in Kuwait. He reiterated KFH’s role as a leading supporter of youth, noting initiatives like the Tam Digital Bank, Kuwait’s first Sharia-compliant digital bank, designed to meet the banking needs of modern youth with innovative services and rewards.

AlShamlan also introduced the Forssah program, targeting high-achieving Kuwaiti graduates to foster their career development through practical experience and market-relevant skills. He concluded by extending best wishes to the graduates for continued success in their future endeavors across various fields.

Meanwhile, Maryam Al-Enezi praised KFH’s annual initiative to recognize outstanding students, emphasizing the significance of societal partnerships in nurturing educational excellence and development. She commended KFH’s commitment to inspiring future generations through such initiatives, encouraging students to pursue excellence in their educational and professional journeys.
