Andrew Reinhart joins Wealth & Investment Management as Head of Trust Services and Chief Fiduciary Officer

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) today announced that Andrew Reinhart will join Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) as Head of Trust Services and Chief Fiduciary Officer. In this role he will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive Trust and Fiduciary services to help meet the unique needs of WIM clients and the clients of other key partners within Wells Fargo. He will report to Prasanna Someshwar, head of WIM’s Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) group.

Andy joins Wells Fargo from The Goldman Sachs Trust Company, where he served in various roles for the past 18 years, most recently as Executive Vice President and Head of Trusts and Estates.  In that role he was responsible for the management and oversight of the Trust Company’s national fiduciary administration business. He was also the chair of the Trust Company’s Trust Account Review Committee responsible for the oversight of all Trust Company accounts and the approval of all discretionary actions, and he was responsible for coordinating with the Trust Company’s chief operating officer and chief compliance officer on all regulatory examinations and internal audit matters, in addition to other responsibilities.

Earlier in his career, Andy practiced law in New York, focused on trust and estate planning and administration.

Andy holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, a Master of Business Administration, Taxation from St. John’s University, Tobin School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.

“Andy brings a tremendous amount of experience to this role, with demonstrated leadership in the trust business, a commitment to exemplary risk and regulatory procedures, and success leading large, complex teams,” said Someshwar. “He’s uniquely suited to this role, and we’re thrilled to have him join the team.”

Andy succeeds Joe Ready, who has been head of Trust and Fiduciary Services for BL&T since 2019, and who will retire later this year after 38 years with the company.
