AAM Names Tim Senechalle CIO, Elizabeth Henderson Head of Fixed Income

AAM Insurance Investment Management (www.aamcompany.com) is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Senechalle, CFA, as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Elizabeth Henderson, CFA, as Head of Fixed Income, effective May 1, 2024.

“I am thrilled to introduce Tim Senechalle as our new Chief Investment Officer and Elizabeth Henderson as Head of Fixed Income,” said John Schaefer, AAM’s Chairman and CEO. “We are confident that together, Tim and Elizabeth will lead our investment efforts and continue to deliver the strong investment performance to our clients that they have come to expect from AAM under Reed’s tremendous leadership over the last 20 years. Our investment philosophy and team approach to developing investment strategy remain unchanged and will ensure a smooth transition.”

Senechalle, a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at AAM for 24 years, will assume the role of Chief Investment Officer. He will oversee all aspects of AAM’s asset allocation across fixed income, equities, and alternative strategies while continuing to work directly with clients as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Henderson, with 26 years of investment experience and 22 years at AAM, will lead the fixed income team in her new executive role as Head of Fixed Income, leveraging her successful leadership of the Corporate research and trading group.

As part of this transition, Reed Nuttall, AAM’s current CIO, will step down from his position but will remain at AAM as a Senior Portfolio Manager, continuing to serve his clients. Nuttall, who has played a pivotal role in shaping AAM’s investment initiatives, expressed confidence in Senechalle and Henderson to uphold the high standards of performance and client service that AAM is known for.

“It’s been an honor to lead the investment strategy at AAM over the last two decades. I’m proud of the performance that we have been able to deliver to and for our clients, and I have every confidence that Tim and Elizabeth will continue to deliver the same,” said Nuttall.
