
TD has announced a contribution of $500,000 to support local relief efforts in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. These funds will be distributed to several non-profits spearheading recovery operations in the affected areas.
Donation Breakdown:
- $300,000 will go to non-profits in North Carolina.
- $100,000 will support recovery in South Carolina.
- $100,000 will be allocated to relief efforts in Florida.
Additionally, TD employees have the option to contribute to selected local non-profits via the bank’s employee giving portal. The bank will match employee donations dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $50,000.
“TD is unwavering in its commitment to support our customers, colleagues, and communities in these challenging times,” said Chris Ward, Regional President of the Mid-South Metro at TD Bank. He acknowledged the unprecedented devastation in parts of North and South Carolina and pledged TD’s continued support throughout the recovery.
Nick Miceli, Regional President of Florida for TD Bank, echoed these sentiments, noting that while Floridians are resilient, the recovery from Hurricane Helene will be long and difficult. He emphasized TD’s readiness to assist those affected.
Additional Support for TD Employees and Customers:
- Eligible TD employees impacted by the hurricane will have access to small grants to cover expenses such as insurance deductibles and personal or family-related costs.
- TD customers affected by the storm can access financial assistance through TD Cares, a relief program offering fee refunds and other support for both consumer and business customers.
