WSFS Bank, the main subsidiary of WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WSFS), proudly announces the promotion of Terry Kistler to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Southern Delaware. Kistler will report directly to Shelly Kavanagh, Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Delivery.
In his new role, Kistler will oversee 13 banking offices across Southern Delaware, focusing on expanding business opportunities, managing office operations, and driving sales. He will also prioritize coaching and training—two of his passions—while fostering a strong, collaborative team.
“I’m thrilled about the impact Terry will have on our Delaware customers and his guidance for our associates,” said Kavanagh. “With over a decade of experience in Delaware banking, Terry deeply understands the region’s needs. He’s a prime example of WSFS’ dedication to developing our Associates and bringing local expertise to our leadership.”
Kistler’s promotion marks the latest chapter in his nearly 14-year journey with WSFS Bank. He began his career as a Personal Banker in the Lewes Banking Office and steadily rose through various positions, including Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and Southern Delaware Relationship Manager, gaining valuable experience along the way.

Kistler, a graduate of Titusville Senior High School, transitioned from hospitality management to the financial industry, leveraging his customer service skills. He resides in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and is actively involved in the community through volunteer work, both independently and with Team WSFS. He currently serves on the Rehoboth Main Street Board, chairing the Promotions Committee, and has previously been involved with the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and the Rehoboth Beach Bears.
