Avanti Capital Advances Impact-Driven Investing and Expands Commitment to Philanthropy
Avanti Capital, a private, multi-generational family office, continues to build on its legacy of strategic, impact-driven investing across real estate, energy, healthcare and technology innovation, wellness, and select consumer brands. Guided by a long-term, relationship-focused philosophy, the firm partners closely with founders and leadership teams to support sustainable growth while prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable social value.
With more than 75 years of combined entrepreneurship experience, Avanti Capital deploys its own capital with discipline and intention. Its investment approach emphasizes strong leadership, thoughtful due diligence, and active engagement, particularly in sectors where innovation and responsible stewardship can create enduring outcomes. Key platforms within the portfolio include 3rd Wave Development, the firm’s real estate development arm focused on community-centered projects, and e2Companies, an energy company delivering integrated, sustainability-aligned energy solutions.
Alongside its investment activity, Avanti Capital is deepening its philanthropic focus as it continues to formalize and expand its foundation efforts. The firm’s charitable initiatives center on education, economic opportunity, and advancements in geroscience and longevity research.
As part of this commitment, Avanti Capital has funded the Viviana Goren Khazzam Communications Fellowship at the Academy for Health and Lifespan Research. The fellowship honors the legacy of Viviana Goren Khazzam, an award-winning journalist, scientific communicator, and philanthropist whose life was defined by curiosity, clarity, and a commitment to advancing public understanding of aging science.
The fellowship supports PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows working in laboratories affiliated with Academy members who are dedicated to advancing the communication of geroscience and fostering global understanding of aging biology. Fellowship goals include supporting early-career scientists engaged in science communication, encouraging creative and accessible outreach initiatives, and promoting evidence-based dialogue around the biology of aging.
Fellowship recipients receive a $7,000 stipend, mentorship through the Academy, and funded participation in select Academy programs, including conferences and communication workshops. This year’s fellowship recipients are Jessica Foley, Rebecca Sereda, Asya Martirosyan, and Noga Touitou.
“Aging science is unique in that everyone, regardless of age, race, or social status, has a stake in it,” said Nicholas Khazzam, President. “This fellowship honors our grandmother’s legacy by advancing thoughtful, accessible communication around the science of aging.”
Through its integrated investment and philanthropic strategies, Avanti Capital remains committed to advancing initiatives that support innovation, sustainability, and long-term positive impact.
